The internet and you
Since the internet is affecting all of us in our everyday lives, we want to talk about the long term future of the internet and digitization. Security, privacy, culture, ethics and citizenship are just some of the issues at these select events.
Whether we think about it or not, digitization is everywhere and influences or day to day life in ever increasing ways. What does that mean to us? How do we understand the internet and the digital tools - are they friend or foe? The events in the Citizenship-tracks adress some of these issues and can make you aware of the unconcious ways we adopt the new technologies.

- Does social media change the way we interact offline? What is the danger in hacking, spam and viruses? and can the internet change our roles as consumers? The Folkeuniversitet may hold the answers
- Boys rarely approach traditional counselling - how do we reach the vulnerable boys digitally?
- Does gaming present a threat to our children? Will they become unsocial? Overweight? Redheaded? What fact and what is fiction?
