Future Digital Organisation: Pay it forward
Companies need to start getting the mindset, that the users got the power. The users know, what they want. They might even set the agenda for what the company should produce. This calls for the future digital organisation.
Martin Schorling and Anders Sahl Hansen from Innovation Lab have developed the Future Digital Organisation and listed three demands, to prepare your company for adapting to the digital future;
- Agility: the ability to manage the resources of the company. Keeping the talents in the company and outsource the tasks, which are not the core competences of the company - instead of trying to hire employees to do the tasks.
- Openness: the ability to open up in the company for external partners. This could be entrepreneurs, who could contribute to the company with new insights and strengths to the company.
- Scalability: the ability to accelerate and implement when the value has been proven.
Even if, a company should start buying more services, they should always remain ownership of information and data, customer-interface and core resources. By owning these data, a company has a better chance of settling in the digital world. With these data, the company can choose to sell the data – or it can choose to pay it forward.
Krifa – the union – choose to pay it forward and give something back to its users. Henri Brorson from Krifa tells, how they are currently working cross-functional to ensure coherence between development and operation. Also, to enforce the progress. A holistic approach to help improving the usability for the users. The strategy is set for 13 projects within the year, and some is already carried out. Krifa has chosen to share their knowledge of job satisfaction. This will probably never go out of fashion – even in the future digital organisations.
